Kangarootime Ongoing Trainings

Whether you are new to your role or need a refresher, this training track is designed to equip Directors, Assistant Director, and Administrators with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in leading and managing center operations effectively. This specialized track encompasses key areas crucial for successful center leadership, including Billing Overview, Account Management, Engagement, and Reporting.


Director Track 1: Billing Overview

Audience: Center staff including, but not limited to: Center Director, Assistant Directors, Business Owner, Administrators (as applicable). This training will benefit those who are involved with managing the billing and finances at the center. 

Description:
The Billing Overview will cover the intricacies of financial processes within a center, including invoicing, revenue tracking, and budget management. Participants will gain insights into optimizing billing procedures to ensure financial sustainability and compliance.

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
-Navigate the billing features and access pertinent financial data

-View, create, and manage fees, transactions, discounts, and payments

-Locate and download reports that are applicable to billing and payments

Dates offered: (3/5 -11:30 – 12)

Lesson Length:  30 minutes

 

Director Track 2: Account Management

Audience: Center staff including, but not limited to: Center Director, Assistant Directors, Business Owner, Administrators (as applicable). This training will benefit those who are involved with the enrollment of new families, and/or managing the family database.

Description: This training will provide an overview of family data management, reporting related to family data, adding and editing family accounts, the contact profile, and the child profile.

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
-Add new family information, and edit as necessary to keep records up to date

-Confidently navigate and update the basic information for contacts and children

-Locate and download reports that are applicable to family data

Dates offered: (3/12 11:30am)

Lesson Length:  30 minutes

 

Director Track 3: Enrollment & Engagement

Audience: Center staff including, but not limited to: Center Director, Assistant Directors, Business Owner, Administrators (as applicable). This training will benefit those who are involved with communication with families.

Description: This training will provide an overview of the various ways to communicate with your families within Kangarootime. We will also provide an understanding of the Attendance and Enrollment features that help inform availability for enrollment in a center.

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
– Understand how to analyze the enrollment data on the Attendance Overview 

– Understand how to view and calculate the class capacity and availability on the Enrollment Dashboard and via the Management feature

– Communicate with families using individual or announcement messages

Dates offered: (3/13 -11:30) Lesson Length:  30 minutes

 

Director Track 4: Reporting

Audience: Center staff including, but not limited to: Center Director, Assistant Directors, Business Owner, Administrators (as applicable). This training will benefit those who are involved in making data-informed decisions.

Description: This training will provide an overview the real-time and on-demand reports available in Kangarootime 

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
– Understand what data is available to you

– Understand how to generate meaningful reports

– How utilize filters on active data pages for real-time data

Billing Track

Whether you are new to your role or need a refresher, this training track is designed to equip staff in charge of Site Operations, Accounting, and Auditing with managing the billing and finances at the center.

Billing Track 1: Activity/Transactions/Payments/ Discounts

Audience:
Staff including, but not limited to:  Director, Business Owner, Administrators (as applicable). This training will benefit those who are involved with managing the billing and finances at the center. 

Description:
The Billing Overview will cover the intricacies of financial processes within a center, including invoicing, revenue tracking, and budget management. Participants will gain insights into optimizing billing procedures to ensure financial sustainability and compliance.

Staff including, but not limited to:  Director, Business Owner, Administrators (as applicable). This training will benefit those who are involved with managing the billing and finances at the center and handling parent questions regarding their bill. 

Description:
The Billing Overview will cover the intricacies of financial processes within a center, including invoicing, revenue tracking, and budget management. Participants will gain insights into optimizing billing procedures to ensure financial sustainability and compliance.

– Understand what data is available to you

– Understand how to generate meaningful reports

– How utilize filters on active data pages for real-time data

– Understand how to respond to customer questions

Enrollment Training

Audience:
Staff including, but not limited to:  Director, Business Owner, Administrators (as applicable). This training will benefit those who engaged with site operations and enrollment.

Description:
This training will provide an understanding of the Attendance and Enrollment features that help inform availability for enrollment in a center. The training will also cover the creation of the enrollment form, Drop-in care, and management of leads entering the system via the form.

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:

– Understand how to analyze the enrollment data on the Attendance Overview 

– Set up drop-in rules for drop in care  

– Understand how to view and calculate the class capacity and availability
